THE RULES. While we do provide fun, we still have restrictions. Please take some time to read through this before you start roleplaying, or even posting.
BE NICE. Don't be that rude person always making everyone cry, that rude person who crushes their dreams, and don't be the person who always gets away with it. Don't be rude. Nobody likes that kind of person. all forms of rudeness are prohibited from the site, too, so even if it isn't directly to you, like "this character sucks he should die", is still offensive and can get you a warning.
NO POWERPLAYING/GODMODDING. Now, that's just unfair. You don't have a chance to hurt, or even try to attack the person. Also, your character might even be dead by the time you notice, and it ruins the fun of roleplaying. Not just this, though, be mindful that we only have realistic powers, therefore your cat can't have a gem on their forehead and shoot deadly lasers out of its head and not killing itself. It also can't have spider-man powers, or you can't have a yellow dog that can stretch its body to as long as you want in the main roleplay. Some examples of powerplaying is: "Example killed Bob." "Example hit Bob." "Example aimed to hit Bob." But the other person says: "Bob dodged the attack. Then he dodged every other attack Examplepaw tried to attack him with because he has telepathy and can know what he can do next. Bob knows everything." Those are examples of powerplaying.
UP TO PG-13 CONTENT ONLY.
No adult content, as it violates ProBoards terms of service. Yeah, you can talk about some stuff, but I suggest reading it (click here) for the full details.
NO PLAGIARISM. People work hard to make their own things, and you're just ruining and claiming it as your own. It could have taken people years to do that, and to you, just a second or two. In real life, schools, specifically, plagiarism can get you suspended, or even worse, expelled. And, hey, none of us on the site were born yesterday. We'd know if you plagiarized the Mona Lisa or if you just amazingly copied it. But, please, don't do it.
NO SPAMMING. No, not the meat. That's the good kind of spam. What we're talking about is this: spamming can come in the form of advertising in another board, instead of doing it in the 'advertisement board' (for sites only). As for other kinds of spamming, repeatedly posting for no reason (bumping, character galleries and such don't count) or posting advertisements for hair products, et cetera.
HAVE FUN! A rule that should be followed at all costs, except, you know, when you're bored and stuff. But, seriously. Staff will hunt you down on their sea turtles and lassos to make sure that you don't not have fun.
